Jr./Sr. Theater Camp

Lights, camera… imagination! In this brand-new for 2026 specialty camp, aspiring actors and creative thinkers dive into the world of theater through improvisation games, storytelling challenges, and character creation exercises. Campers will explore elements that bring a production to life: from script development and acting techniques to basic set design and costume creation.

Throughout the week, campers will work both individually and as an ensemble to build confidence, cooperation, and expressive skills. With guidance from camp staff and a special guest from the local theater community, participants will learn how to project their voices, embody characters, and respond in the moment using improv techniques.

The week culminates in a Friday performance for families, showcasing a short play or collection of skits created and rehearsed by the campers themselves. Whether a camper dreams of being on stage or prefers helping bring the story to life behind the scenes, Theater Camp offers a fun and supportive space to take creative risks and let their talents shine.
