The Girls Mountain Bike Camp is a week long, day camp hosted at the Portland Gear Hub Bike School. Throughout the week, the riders build confidence and have fun practicing handling drills, group rides, and basic mechanic lessons. Instructor and mechanic, Sara Ramirez, will lead the group on daily mountain bike rides. Afternoons will be spent at the bike school with women from the Portland area who are experts in their given fields and guide the group in various activities meant to highlight how biking can extend to learning self-sufficiency, community, exploration, and conservation.
