Mini + Junior Nature Discovery
Designed for campers who love exploring the outdoors but aren’t quite ready for full survival camp yet. Nature Discovery introduces essential outdoor skills in a fun and approachable way. Campers will spend the week hiking through Ketcha’s forests and wetlands, learning beginner shelter building, fire making, and basic navigation while practicing Leave No Trace principles.
The week also includes a campfire cookout for all groups, and our Junior Nature Discovery campers will go on a field trip to Bradbury Mountain State Park for an easy summit hike and nature observation. Campers will discover plants and wildlife, build confidence in outdoor environments, and grow their teamwork skills through hands-on challenges and nature-based games.
By the end of the week, campers will feel more comfortable outdoors and proud of their accomplishments while having plenty of fun along the way!
