Junior + Senior Rope & Rock

During their time at camp, campers will engage in a series of challenges both individually and as a team on our high and low ropes courses. They will learn skills such as knot tying and belaying their fellow campers, ensuring safety, and effective teamwork. Through instruction on equipment safety and maintenance, campers will gain an understanding of the tools necessary for their activities. Additionally, they’ll have the opportunity to visit a local gym for a day of climbing, where they’ll put their newly acquired skills to the test on various climbing elements.

Campers will learn a variety of commonly used knots used in outdoor challenges that require these skills. They’ll develop strong teamwork and communication abilities as they collaborate with their peers to conquer obstacles. Through the process of belaying and being belayed, campers will learn to foster trust and reliance on their training partners, enhancing their interpersonal relationships and leadership capabilities. Lastly, they’ll receive an introduction to basic climbing techniques and safety protocols, empowering them to safely navigate and enjoy climbing activities on different elements. Get ready for a thrilling and transformative experience as your child embarks on a journey of outdoor adventure and personal growth at our ropes and climbing camp!
