Junior Rope & Rock
This camp is perfect for adventurous campers ready to build confidence while climbing high and working together. Throughout the week, campers will take on Ketcha’s high and low ropes courses, learning basic climbing techniques, developing balance, and practicing teamwork as they support one another through each challenge. Activities are designed to be age-appropriate and fun, emphasizing courage and cooperation rather than technical skill.
A highlight of the week is a day trip to Evo Rock + Fitness in Portland, where campers will try indoor climbing under the guidance of professional instructors and Ketcha staff. Whether cheering on a friend or reaching the top themselves, campers will learn to set goals, overcome nerves, and feel proud of their efforts.
By week’s end, Junior climbers will come away stronger, more confident, and ready to take on bigger adventures in the future.
Senior Rope & Rock
Get ready for an epic week of climbing and adventure! Senior campers will kick things off at Camp Ketcha, tackling our high and low ropes courses, learning belay techniques, and taking on active team challenges designed to push their skills and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
The highlight of the week is the overnight at Salt Pump Climbing Co. in Scarborough, where campers get after-hours access to the climbing gym. They’ll spend the evening scaling walls and exploring routes under the supervision of trained Ketcha ropes staff, making this a truly unique experience that junior climbers rarely get.
Designed for both enthusiastic beginners and returning climbers, this specialty camp delivers major excitement, hands-on adventure, and the kind of summer memory they’ll still be talking about when school starts again.
