Anne brings over 20 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership to her role at Ketcha Outdoors. She began her journey as a camp counselor and discovered a lifelong passion for working with young children while teaching English at a preschool in the Czech Republic. After returning to the U.S., Anne earned her B.A. in Music and a Master’s in Elementary Education from DePaul University in Chicago.
Before joining Ketcha Outdoors, Anne served as Executive Director of a nonprofit early childhood center in Portland, Maine, where she led the organization through significant growth, program development, and pandemic recovery. She brings a deep commitment to building inclusive, child-centered programs that support learning, social-emotional development, and connection to the natural world. Anne is excited to join a team that values nature-based learning and is eager to bring her experience into youth programs that inspire curiosity, community, and outdoor exploration. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time outdoors with her family, and learning how to garden.
