Carina Way

Carina started in 2021 as an assistant preschool teacher at Ketcha Outdoors. Her experiences as a park ranger, instructor and director of a sailing school, and a Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning and policy have given her the tools necessary to educate and engage students in learning about the natural world that surrounds them. Carina hopes to teach students that it is important to understand the intrinsic value that nature holds and to educate students on how to take care of the earth they will one day inherit. When Carina isn’t at Ketcha she likes to spend her free time hiking, sailing, and taking care of her many plants and cats.
