Jam joins Ketcha and Gear Hub with a background in nonprofit fundraising, communications, and community engagement, with much of her career focused on conservation and connecting people with the outdoors. Prior to joining Ketcha and Gear Hub, she served as Development Director at Friends of Baxter State Park and held development roles with land trusts in New Hampshire and California.
Jam holds degrees from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and the University of St Andrews and is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Nonprofit Administration at the University of Notre Dame. Her own connection to outdoor education began at a young age and shaped her commitment to helping people build meaningful relationships with the outdoors. Outside of work, Jam can usually be found reading, exploring new places, biking around Portland, or spending time with her two cats. An avid trail runner, cyclist, and lifelong lover of the outdoors, she is excited to bring that personal connection to her work at Ketcha and Gear Hub.
