Trisha began teaching at our Farm and Forest Preschool in 2019 and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in outdoor education during her tenure. Before joining Ketcha, Trisha dedicated herself as a teacher at the YMCA and later assumed the role of lead teacher at another preschool. These experiences enriched her understanding of early childhood education and development, laying a solid foundation for her work at Ketcha Outdoors.
She holds a CDA certification and is certified in CPR and First Aid, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students at all times. Currently pursuing her ECE degree at Kennebec Valley Community College and seeking her Maine Early Learning and Development Certification. “I believe in the power of individualized learning and recognize the profound impact teachers can have on their student’s growth and development.”
Beyond her professional endeavors, Trisha plays an active role in her community as the Team Administrator for a local High School football team and softball team. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, camping, and embarking on adventures with her dogs. An avid seashell collector, reader, and gardener, Trisha finds joy in the simple pleasures of life and embraces each day with gratitude.
Trisha also leads our Farmer Fridays’ a summer adventure for kids to learn about animals and gardening.
