Ketcha Outdoors is a year-round charitable non-profit organization serving the southern Maine community with programs in youth development, family enrichment, and summer day camping. We strive to get children, youth, and families outdoors on our 107 acres of meadows, forests, streams, and wetlands to appreciate what nature has to offer.

A 4 year old camper, told me from day one “No one wants to be my friend” then to see her leave camp with lots of confidence in herself socially, and plenty of friends to say goodbye to. It was great to see!

Halloween Hike and Little Monsters Ball Halloween Hike and Little Monsters Ball
SAVE THE DATE: In 2023 Ketcha Outdoors is teaming up with Birth Roots Maine to offer the option of the Little Monsters Ball in the Great Hall for the 36 months and younger crowd and our annual Halloween Hike for the 3 and older crowd!

I’ve seen such great progress in my son. He learned practical skills that have helped him cope with real life situations and watching him conquer his fears has been such a blessing.

Give a child the chance to experience the 107 acres of forests and meadows at Ketcha Outdoors: hunting for tadpoles, climbing to the top of the rock wall, getting muddy, and making friends. Farm & Forest Spots Available

There are still spots available in our Farm & Forest Preschool!

Our 107 acres include forest and fields, a pond, streams, hiking trails and an educational farm. September through May our students are active in the outdoors learning while playing, hiking, gardening, and visiting the animals at the farm.
