Our Scholarship Fund

One season in our programs can change a young person’s life for the better, and we know this from experience. At Ketcha Outdoors, our mission is to provide equitable access to outdoor experiences that promote well-being, resilience, and connection to the natural world. Because of this commitment, securing scholarship funding is a year-round priority.

Through our Scholarship Fund, we are able to open doors for children who would not otherwise be able to attend Summer Camp, School Vacation Camps, After-Care, or our Farm & Forest Preschool. These programs give children the opportunity to step away from the pressures of home and school and instead experience the benefits of time spent outdoors, building confidence, learning new skills, and forming meaningful relationships with their peers.

While many families are able to participate in our programs without financial strain, a significant number face real barriers when it comes to the cost of camp, after-care, and preschool. Scholarships ensure that these children can still experience the joy, growth, and belonging that come from time spent learning and playing outside. Our scholarship recipients learn together, form lasting friendships, and develop a deep respect for the natural world, planting the seeds for future environmental stewards and engaged community members.
