Mini + Junior Animal

This camp is a favorite among animal-loving campers who enjoy hands-on experiences and time outdoors. Throughout the week, children will help care for Ketcha’s goats and chickens, go on guided nature walks to look for signs of local wildlife, and participate in crafts and activities inspired by animals and their habitats.

A highlight of the week includes a special visit from Spark’s Ark, where campers meet live animals up close and learn fascinating facts about their behaviors and adaptations. Junior Animal campers also take a field trip to the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray to observe native Maine wildlife and deepen their understanding of conservation and local ecosystems.

Whether tending to barnyard animals, discovering tracks in the woods, or meeting native wildlife face to face, campers build curiosity, confidence, and respect for the creatures they share the world with. A great fit for aspiring veterinarians, wildlife helpers, or any child who simply loves animals!
