Mini Art

Campers will explore their creativity through a variety of hands-on art activities inspired by imagination and the natural world. Each day includes time to work on both individual and group projects using a mix of artistic materials such as paints, clay, and items gathered from nature. Campers will experiment with color, texture, and design while learning basic art techniques in a fun and supportive environment. By the end of the week, they’ll bring home original creations they’re proud of (and maybe a little paint on their shirts too!).

Junior  and Senior Art

Campers will use our Art Cabin as their creative hub, exploring a range of artistic mediums (including painting, sculpture, and mixed-media projects) using materials such as clay, paints, markers, and natural items found around campus. Throughout the week, they’ll experiment with different styles and techniques through both individual and group creations, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and artistic growth.

Nature walks will provide inspiration as campers observe the landscape and gather natural elements to incorporate into their work. To further enhance their experience, all campers will take part in a field trip to the Portland Museum of Art, where they’ll view professional artwork and draw inspiration from artists past and present.

Campers will finish the week with artwork they’re proud of and a deeper appreciation for art, nature, and their own creative potential.
