Senior White-Water Rafting
Designed for campers ready to embrace adventure, this specialty camp begins at Camp Ketcha, where participants build skills and confidence through activities such as archery, ropes course challenges, and swimming. Midweek, they’ll travel to Adventure Bound in Carrabassett Valley and settle into cabin accommodations, enjoying access to their indoor climbing wall and group recreation spaces.
On Thursday, professional rafting guides lead campers down a thrilling stretch of the Kennebec River. Before launching, campers take part in a safety briefing and gear orientation, then work together as a paddling team to navigate the river’s most exciting rapids along an unforgettable 12-mile wilderness route.
This camp fosters teamwork, resilience, and confidence through challenge and adventure. By the end of the week, campers return proud and energized, with stories, skills, and memories that will last a lifetime.
